Unlocking each child’s potential through the foundation of reading
An educational partnership with the School Sisters of Notre Dame and proud host of AARP Foundation Experience Corps
Volunteer with East Side Learning Center!
Children across Minnesota are falling behind in reading. 61% of Saint Paul Public School (SPPS) students struggle with reading basics and less than 50% of all non-white students across all ethnicities and races achieve literacy competency. We need your help to combat this achievement gap. Join the fight by volunteering at East Side Learning Center. Volunteers serve as literacy tutors, virtual literacy tutors, or as partners in virtual tutoring sessions as observers. Help us unlock each child's potential through the foundation of reading by filling out our volunteer application and joining us for the 2023-2024 school year!
